Conway Pagan Pride Day

Looking for a Pagan event in central Arkansas around Samhain? Conway’s Pagan Pride Project group is hosting a Pagan Pride Day on October 26, 2014, in the heart of Conway. It will be held at Simon park adjacent to city hall. It will be held from 2pm to 8pm. This year’s event will be an interfaith event, in hopes of providing something for everyone. There is no admission for this event, but they are taking food and monetary donations for the Bethlehem House.  There will be a raffle and door prizes as well.  

There will be a wide variety of vendors everything from pagan goods to food offered at cost.  The schedule includes guest speakers, pagan musicians, a public ritual, and children’s activities. 

The tentative schedule is listed below. 

2p.m. -> Festival begins and President, Sheldon Slinkard, will make welcome speech
2:30p.m. -> Kids activities begin on grassy area
2:45p.m. -> Cara Mia (cute witch772 on youtube) speaks on healthy Pagan tolerance among Pagans and outside of the Pagan arena. She is joined with a local Lutheran Pastor who supports the Pagan community.
3:30 p.m. -> S.J. Tucker Concert 
5:00 p.m. -> Public Pagan Ritual (Nondenominational and open to the public to participate)
5:00 p.m. -> Closing remarks and raffle drawing
6:00 p.m. -> Festival continues for shoppers, for fellowship, and such.
