There are many events, festivals, classes, concerts, plays and markets available to Arkansan Pagans with a wide range of interests. These are not specifically Pagan, Wiccan, Heathen or Witch events, just ones of interest to us. Here’s a brief outline of some events that might interest you:
A magical weekend designed to delight children and adults alike, LANTERNS! celebrates the first full moon of the lunar year with a profusion of lanterns, entertainment, and gourmet treats. Lighted walking paths and fire pits along the lake lead park visitors into winter woodlands to discover vistas representing a variety of years, cultures, and locations.
Garvan Woodland Gardens Daffodil Days
9 a.m. – 6 p.m. daily. Typically around mid-February, Garvan’s thousands of sunny daffodils begin blooming. The Gardens boasts a total of around 200,000 daffodils in various shades of yellow and white scattered throughout the Gardens. Many are concentrated on the Three Sisters of Amity Daffodil Hill on Warren’s Woodland Walk in the center of the main garden grounds. 10th Annual Chocolate Lovers’ Festival
Everything chocolate including cakes, cookies, ice cream, multiple dipping fountains, beverages; chocolate novelty items, body products; vendors of products while offering gourmet and homemade chocolate take-home samples, ranging from organic and household brand names to select boutique labels. Competition features several “best of” contests in both amateur and professional categories.

Basic Dutch Oven Cooking Workshop

Have you ever noticed how everything tastes better around a campfire? Discover the methods and secrets of successful Dutch oven cooking that early residents of Washington would have used. Dutch ovens available for sale in gift shop if you wish to purchase one after the workshop. Class limit is 10, mimimum of 6, with a 36 hour cancellation deadline. Reservations required.
