Wiccan Professor vs. University of St. Bonaventure

The fight with Christianity against Pagans will be always around, but how far is too far?

Pauline Hoffman, a practicing Wiccan (a nature bound religion) for 20 years and a professor of the University of St. Bonaventure, is suing the University for religious discrimination.
Pauline states that her university denied her promotions and asked her to resign without telling her the reason behind the action. She believes that the actions are caused by their disapproval of her practice of Wicca.

She expressed in a news conference that Provost Fisher from the University expressed to her, “You might not want to be so overt about being a witch if you want to move up.”
Pauline also verbalized that Sister Margaret (the president of the university at that time) told her, “I took a big chance hiring you as a Wiccan.”

When will we have peace? Have you experienced workplace discrimination because of your religion or practice? How did you handle it?
